- Ariane has written neither a biography nor travel stories. She is neither 36 nor 37 years old. Her book has been published neither in 1998, nor in 1999, nor in 2001.
- Sophie, who isn't 37, hasn't written travel stories. Her book has been published neither in 1998 nor in 1999.
- Marc is the author of a fantastic novel which hasn't been published in 1998.
- Pascal, which book has been published in 1997, has four years less than Jean, the author of short stories.
